2025 Rice Family Fun Days Parade
On Saturday, August 16th, SRRYBO will have a float in the Rice Family Fun Days Parade, and we’re inviting our players and families to walk with us and show off your Storm pride!
This is a great chance for players to represent Sauk Rapids Rice Youth Basketball, hand out some goodies, and have a blast!
Parade Details
- Who can walk? Players + a parent or guardian
- No sign-up required—just show up and join the fun!
- Meet at the float at 11:30 am
- Float location - (float #13)
Want to Help Decorate?
Looking to get in your Volunteer Hours for the 2025–2026 season or just love being creative?
We need 2 volunteers to help decorate our float on Friday, August 15th (evening) AND join us in the parade on Saturday.
To receive volunteer hour credit, both individuals must participate in both float decorating on Friday and walking in the parade on Saturday.
To sign up:
- Visit www.srrybo.org on a web browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, etc).
- Under "Account", click on "Volunteer" in the drop down menu.
- To sign up for a shift, click on the event, then click the "+" button to add your name (or the name of another parent/guardian attached to your family's account).
What to Wear
Rock any of the following:
- Your SRRYBO jersey
- Storm Basketball gear
- Green & Gold clothing
- And feel free to bring a basketball to bounce along the route!
What We’re Handing Out
- Mini Powerades
- Ice pop freezies
- We’ll also have bottled water for all walkers—no need to bring your own!
